A Beautiful Noise is led by Tony Award-winning director Michael Mayer and presents a highly regarded book by BAFTA Award-winning playwright Anthony McCarten.
Through captivating song and dance segments, this jukebox musical recounts the behind-the-scenes tales of Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Neil Diamond.
The musician himself intimately cooperated with the production to retain its verity, staunchly championing awareness for mental health through Neil’s therapy sessions-framed narrative. Avid theater-goers are also in for an exciting treat as the musical offers some of his Billboard-breaking hits, such as “Cracklin' Rosie,” “Cherry, Cherry,” and “Love on the Rocks.”
Featured in A Beautiful Noise’s brilliant cast are Nick Fradiani and Mark Jacoby, who’ll be filling in the roles of a past and current Neil. Alternating, the two will lay out the nuances of the singer-songwriter's backstage and onstage personas, revealing fascinating new angles from his boyhood days in Brooklyn to his unprecedented rise to stardom.
