On Thursday 21st March 2024 at the Durham Performing Arts Center, the stage curtains will pull open to share the much loved tale of Mrs. Doubtfire - The Musical, as out-of work actor and dad Daniel Hillard makes an outlandish gesture that has his wife shouting the word, ‘DIVORCE!’ After the messy court proceedings, Daniel loses custody of his children. In desperation to see his three children more easily he makes a persona that will be a housekeeper for his ex-wife and children after discovering an advert that his ex has placed.
Now, Mrs Doutbfire enters their lives with funny mishaps that alter every member of the Hillard family. Mrs. Doubtfire - The Musical will have you crying with laughter as Mrs Doubtfire inadvertently teaches the whole family the true meaning of love and pain, and the silliness of living.
